1. Who we are
LemonProof ("we", "us", "the Service") is an AI-powered due diligence platform for second-hand purchases, operated from Spain (European Union). For any privacy-related question you can contact us at feedback@lemonproof.app.
LemonProof is currently operated as an independent project. Once a legal entity is established, its registered details will be added here as the data controller.
2. What data we collect
•Account data: your name and email address (provided directly or via Google sign-in).
•Inspection data: the details you enter about the vehicles or properties you analyse (make, model, year, price, location, notes) and any documents you upload.
•Usage data: the inspections you generate and your interactions within the app.
•Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
•Analytics data: an anonymous identifier and basic interaction events (e.g. page views, sign-up, purchases) stored in our own database, together with first-touch attribution: referrer, UTM parameters and, if you arrive from an ad, a Google click identifier ("gclid"). This is first-party only.
3. How we use your data
•To provide the core service: generating inspection checklists, market value estimates and cost estimates.
•To manage your account, credits and subscriptions.
•To improve the Service and ensure its security and correct functioning.
•To respond to your support requests.
We process your data on the legal bases of contract performance (providing the service you sign up for) and legitimate interest (security and improvement).4. Third parties who process data on our behalf
•Supabase — authentication and database (EU infrastructure).
•Anthropic — AI generation of checklists and estimates. Inspection data you submit is sent to Anthropic's API to generate your report.
•Stripe — payment processing.
•Vercel — application hosting.
Each of these providers acts under their own data protection commitments. We only share the minimum data necessary for each function.5. Data retention
We keep your account and inspection data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual inspections at any time, and you may request full account deletion by contacting us.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Union, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email feedback@lemonproof.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
7. Cookies, storage and analytics
We use first-party browser storage that is essential for sign-in and keeping your session. We also use our own first-party analytics to understand how the Service is used and which channels bring users to it: we store an anonymous identifier and basic event data (such as page views and key actions like sign-up or purchase) in our own database, along with first-touch attribution information (referrer, UTM parameters and, where present, a Google click identifier). This analytics is entirely first-party — we do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking, and we do not share this data with advertising networks. See the notice shown on your first visit.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
